summer is around the corner

And it’s not too late to start thinking about your summer shoot. I’m pulling together my shooting schedule for the summer.
As of now, it looks like I will be in the Hamptons for the month of July and a weekend or two towards the end August.
Therefore, I will try to schedule most Westport shoots in June and during the first two weeks of August.
I will still be available to shoot around the tri-state area through out the summer as well. New York City, Westchester, New Jersey, CT, etc.
If you have another summer destination in mind, feel free to call me to discuss.

i had to sneak in a quick photo session of my little one. i think he is the toughest child i’ve ever had to photograph. he doesn’t sit for a second unless food is involved.

So here are a few photos from our trip to San Fran. Had a great time. Came back rested and full after eating and drinking our way through town. Try Spruce if you go – new, beautiful restaurant in the Pacific Heights area. If you wonder why the photos all look a little different, because I’m testing out a few Photoshop actions I recently purchased.
I recently went to check the stats for my blog and it shows close to 15,000 visitors. Thanks to everyone for stopping by and spreading the word. Please continue to do so!
Coming up:
1. NEW WEBSITE! Should be ready in a couple of weeks! My fab. website designer is working away.
2. SPRING MINI SHOOTS! If the weather cooperates they will be held on APRIL 19th. Just in time for Mother’s Day and Father’s Day gifts (which are May 11th and June 15th). Rain date is April 26th.
I plan to hold them all day, from about 9 am – 4pm in the Meatpacking District and/or Tribeca and possibly Central Park. Depends on which spots most participants are interested in.
Price is $350.00 for a half hour shoot, approx. 15-20 images presented in an online gallery and 1 8×10. An email will go out with all the details once my new site is up. If you aren’t on the mailing list, email me.

Audrey turned one a few weeks ago and celebrated with a great little party at Citibabes. I’ve photographed this beautiful family before down in Tribeca and look forward to seeing you them this summer out East. Thanks a bunch. It was great to see you.

On my way to meet Bren in San Francisco. Can’t wait. A weekend of eating good food, sleeping in, shopping and hangin’ out together in one of our favorite cities. Haven’t had a weekend alone in quite some time. I know once Sunday rolls around we’ll be ready to get back to our little one.

It’s hard to believe it but Ben has turned 16. As I’ve mentioned here before, he is very mature. I’m always amazed by his maturity, intelligence and creativity. We attended his 16th par-te on Friday, something he has been looking forward to for quite some time. I was so impressed by what a chic and cool party he planned. It was at a hip little lounge/thai restaurant in the Meatpacking district called Highline. He celerated with 70 of his closest friends who all shared food, mocktails and a delicious cake from Billy’s Bakery. Happy Birthday Ben! Love you.
I had some fun with these shots, making the most of the ambience. I’m not a big fan of the flash so I used it sparingly, if at all. Anyways…

I had a newborn mini shoot with little Charlie. Oh my, he was good enough to eat. Mom was so sweet as well. It was great to meet you both. I hope we meet again, maybe once we’re neighbors!
