Here is a little video clip of conner on Christmas morning (view by clicking on the Ho Ho Ho), as well as a few photos.
he was more interested in the wrapping paper than the actual presents
we headed down to south jersey to visit our good friends, the Burns fam. Took the kids to storybook land and made a lobster dinner in their new gorgeous home. We had a great time.
i think this one pretty much sums up what it’s like everytime we get together. sorry mike.
9 Reindeer

On Dasher, on Dancer, Prancer and Vixen, on Comet, on Cupid, Donner and Blitzen and CONNER.
The below photo was the front of our Christmas card this year. I’ve partnered with good friend and designer Bridget Banta, to create a new line of stationery. We’re still perfecting the printing and working on several designs but plan to have a selection of holiday cards, announcements and invitations for 08′.
Anyways, most of you received a copy in the mail wishing you a very all a very Merry Christmas but just in case I missed you, Merry Christmas!! I hope you are all as thankful this year as I am. I wouldn’t be where I am today if it wasn’t for all of you – my wonderful family, friends and clients.
End of The Year Contest…
December 11th, 2007
Since the year is coming to an end I’ve been trying to think of something to write here on the blog. Something inspiring, something fun, something meaningful… Then I had an idea, thanks to Mrs. Tara Whitney and a few other blogs. I’ve decided to take the pressure off myself and allow you to use your voice. So here’s the deal. Photo of the Year Award. A contest that goes a little something like this:
PHOTO OF THE YEAR AWARD
I’ve posted 16 of my favorite photos (see below) from 2007 for you to vote on. Why 16? Because I couldn’t narrow it down any further.
Rules and Regulations:
1. Cast your votes by clicking on the comment button below THIS post, under photo 16, and clearly indicating which number (listed at the top of each photo) is your favorite.
2. No cheating, You can only vote once!
3. Yes, you can encourage your friends and family to vote for your photo if you have been selected in the 16 photos of the year. And even if haven’t been selected, encourage your friends and family to vote because it’s for a good cause – Art Start.
4. The owner of the winning photo will receive a FRAMED 12×18 PHOTO CANVAS of the photo.
5. I will also multiply the number of votes cast on the winning photo by $5.00 and donate that amount to ART START, a NY based charity that uses varied art forms to provide low-income and homeless youth with opportunities for success.
Voting DEADLINE is DECEMBER 30th at 11:59 PM, EST.
The winning photo will be posted at 9 AM, EST on NEW YEAR’S DAY.
PHOTOS:
In the meantime I’ll try come up with something inspiring to say to start the New Year off right. I was going to run a New Year’s resolutions contest as well, but who am I to judge what are the best resolutions? So I’ll stick to what I know – photos.
the west village
December 4th, 2007
My last shoot this year was spent with Cookie and her family in the West Village. This was one of my favorites from 07′. I haven’t shot on the streets of the village so it was a great finale. We took full advantage of their gorgeous neighborhood, borrowed several stoops and walked along the leaf lined streets. It was hard to believe it was the end of November. Thanks Andrea. It was great to meet you all!
the end of the year
December 4th, 2007
I only have one more shoot to proof before the holidays. These two brothers are my second to last. I photographed the younger one this summer as a newborn in the Hamptons, so I was excited to meet the older of the two. The first few are from the beginning of our shoot. I had a few minutes with them alone where they posed for a few on the bed. They sure are cute. Thanks Kathryn. It was great to see you!
