We took Conner swimming this weekend in NJ and ran into Matt and Candace with their son, Porter. Conner has a new little buddy. Porter made a couple friends at the pool, he’s good with the ladies. Good to see you all. Hope to do it again soon!

I loved this family. They were so down to earth and so easy. I felt so comfortable with them, and I hope vice-versa! They found me through another one of my clients, Tonia. So thank you Tonia for the referral and thank you Egans for a delightful shoot. I hope to photograph you and Jacob for many years to come. A few of my faves…

Conservatory Gardens Shoot

This family and this spot were both great! I especially love the archway of trees. When I first noticed it awhile back I knew I had to find a family who would venture up to 102nd Street with me. They live downtown so it was a hike. They must of walked back and forth a hundred times to get the last couple shots. Towards the end it started to get crowded but I think it was all worth it. Thanks Mulvey family!

MOM MADE ME WEAR THIS DUMB HAT

Just a few of our little guy. He was not a fan of his hat but atleast I got a few shots. It was worth a few minutes of torture. I think I might hang these in his room. Whatchya think?
There are times when I can’t believe he is ours. To think we “made” him, isn’t it Crazy?! Sometimes I have to take a step back and remind myself just to take it all in and cherish the special moments, like this day in the park. I have to remind myself to put down my camera and to just be with him. It’s easy to get so wrapped up, losing focus of what really matters and as a result stressing out, when in the end I know everything will all work out (hopefully!). Finding a good balance between family, work, friends and taking care of and time for ourselves is something we can all relate to. I guess what I’m saying is things have been a little hectic here with work. I’ve been stressed, trying to find that balance, but at the end of the day nothing makes me feel better than his smile. To come home to that is simply the best.

Wasn’t this bday party gorgeous? It was great to photograph. All that pink, and Madeline everywhere! Plus Magic Al, the Disney Princesses, pinatas, cupcakes, McDonalds… Emily is one lucky little girl. Happy Birthday Emily! Hope to see you soon.
Curious Henry

We all love Curious George and in this case, Curious Henry. This shoot was for new friends, Susan and her husband Chris. We have a wonderful mutual friend Kelly, who recently introduced us. Susan is starting an interior design business with a little bit of a twist. Another woman going after her dreams–I love it. I’m thrilled we met and look forward to (hopefully ; ) photographing Henry over the years to come. Thanks Susan, and Kelly!
