April showers
April 26th, 2010
bring May flowers. Pretty pink tulips, in particular. A wonderful client of mine, Elizabeth Moyer, has recently taken the plunge and started a lovely blog, Pretty Pink Tulips, inspiration for living, giving and entertaining with style and grace. I find myself stopping by every morning to see what treasure she’s going to share with me today.
I met Elizabeth several years ago for our first photo shoot on Main Beach in East Hampton. I photographed her and her adorable family (she also has two boys, one of which is named Tyler ; ) and instantly felt very comfortable with her. Not only does she have a beautiful demeanor, she also has wonderful taste and being from Texas, has a very special spot in my heart. Make sure to visit her blog to see what’s up her sleeve today – interior design tips, gift ideas, party favor solutions and more. I’m sure you will keep coming back for more, just like myself.
MIA
July 26th, 2008
I’ve been MIA this past week. It flew by and before I knew it the week was over. Six shoots later (by Sunday) here I am. Pooped. Anyways, we are out in the Hamptons. FINALLY Friday was the perfect weather day. Just gorgeous. We deserved it after all that humidity. We’re hanging poolside and were going to the fair between shoots today. I will post lots of photos this upcoming week. Promise.
In the meantime I will leave you with Ali Edwards‘ fabulous blog. She is a mom, artist, designer, scrapbooker and inspiration to all.
Have a great weekend and I will be in touch next week.
finally
July 11th, 2008
I’m back and have a few minutes to post. The last week flew by. Still getting settled in our new house and trying to catch up on proofing and orders.
The Lawlers are wonderful clients of mine. They were one of my first clients when I started this business. I first photographed Cassie when she was about 1 1/2. It’s amazing to see how much she has grown and now she has a little brother Luke, who is just as adorable as she is. As you can see from their flags they were preparing for the 4th of July. It was an all American shoot complete with flags and popsicles. Thanks guys for being such good sports considering the humidity. The popsicles were a well deserved finale. I look forward to seeing you in the burbs.
And for another blog I like, since I haven’t recommended one in awhile… www.dooce.com. Hilarious and addicting. She is a super smart and sharp writer with an awesome sense of humor. And what I find most amazing is her blog supports her family. Impressive.
blogs i like
June 25th, 2008
So because there are so many blogs I like, I’ve decided to share. Once a week (or so) I will post one of my favorite blogs here. Topics will range from photography to cooking to home stuff to music which brings me to my first blog I will recommend, www.untitledrecords.com. This blog is all about music, by Rachel. She is the girlfriend to Shane who designed my new blog. It’s set up beautifully. I love that with the click of one button you can hear the song, in full and her commentary is right on.
Enjoy!
