olympics
February 18th, 2010
This sums up my feelings towards the Olympics. Jerry Seinfeld’s I’m Telling You For The Last Time came out when I was in college. My roommate and I used to sit and listen to the CD over and over. Brendan and I also saw him in Vegas a few years ago. Absolutely hilarious.

updated website
January 20th, 2010
One of the many things on my To-Do list for after the New Year was to update my website. I can cross that off now. Phew. There are new photos, a “Hamptons” portfolio plus an “Intimate Affairs” portfolio. I’m looking to book a few well, intimate affairs this year. Take a look and enjoy!
2010
January 5th, 2010
We are only 5 days into 2010 and I think I’m already behind. I’m trying to focus on all the things I put off over the last couple weeks. I usually spend January and February catching up on my own family photos, updating my website, Photo of the Year (which I’m debating on) and just getting organized. In the last week we celebrated my father’s birthday, Christmas, NYE, my birthday and then to top it off, held Tyler’s baptism on Sunday. Right now I’m trying to recover. Conner and Bren were both off for more than a week. Yesterday we all returned to work/school and everything went back to normal. Last night was also the first night where Ty woke up ONLY ONCE. He has been sick for nearly a month and I think we are finally out of the woods. Acid reflux, stomach bug, cold…
Have you all set your New Year resolutions? I have too many to list all of which are based around the theme of leading a healthy, balanced and fulfilling life. 2009 was one of the busiest and stressful years we’ve had so far. I’m hoping not to repeat some of 09′s craziness. One word I like to live by – simplify. It will help that we aren’t welcoming a baby into our lives this year.
I’ll leave you with a few photos of Conner playing in one of our many recent snow storms. Stay warm!

wishing you all a very merry christmas and happy new year!

We are headed to Vermont to stay the resort (The Equinox) where we got married, SOLO. Just me and Bren. No kids. No crying. No screaming. Three days of quiet rest and relaxation.
It’s all about sleeping for more than 5 hours straight, room service, reading the paper and drinking my coffee in bed, fall foliage, visiting my favorite bookstore, not checking email, having breakfast at the best little VT comfort food cafe – Up For Breakfast, spa appointments, working out, steak dinner, good wine and some QT with my husband. I – Can – Not – Wait.
See you next week.

It looks as though we will definitely be out East for the last week of August, plus a few other days earlier in the month which I’m trying to nail down. If you are interested in booking a Hamptons Summer Shoot, please email me.

minis, part 1
May 1st, 2009
So my dear friend Jen has been waiting patiently for a preview of her photos. She was a participant in my mini shoots a couple weeks back. How cute is her family? Kayla and Conner were playmates when we lived in the city and now that we’re in the burbs we miss them. Jen and I met at our “baby-prep” class as we were prego a few years back. The class was a joke but I’m glad it connected the two of us. She was one of my first “new mommy friends.” Now were trying to convince them to move to Chappaqua. Someday hopefully!

This family was so cute, happy, in love, laid back, easy and well, I guess it’s safe to say, I liked them. We had a super easy and great shoot. They were wonderful models. So easy to photograph. Mom sent me this email last night:
The photos arrived and we are speechless. They are more fantastic than I ever dreamed. We have so many favorites that I don’t know how I will ever choose. Right now they are laid out on the dining room table and our must-haves take up the entire table. Thank you for capturing our family the way you did. I am sure I am going to need your help in making our final selections.
That made my week. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
I had such a nice day today. First a meeting and shoot in the city with 2 great clients and then came home to spend the afternoon with two close girlfriends from high school. One of which has a son Conner’s age so they had a play date as well. It was so good to see them. Two of us recently moved back to Westchester so it’s nice to be neighbors again. I hope everyone has wonderful weekend, despite all the rain we are going to get tomorrow. It’s my last couple days of shooting (Sunday and Monday) for the holiday season. Wish me luck. Now I’m off to grab a bite with Brendan. Pizza!
