Meet Miss Devon. Ummm, can we say CUTE?

Devon’s mom Melisa and I went to high school and college together so you could say we have history. Mom writes a fab blog, The Lil Bee and through the blog world won interior design assistance from the NYC-based Interior Design firm Lavender + Plum, which she used for Devon’s adorable nursery. They asked if I would come and photograph it and I said of course…

After we covered the nursery I couldn’t help but snap a few of the star herself.

This one = my favorite.

All our shooting wore Devon out and she got a little cranky at the end. To be a true model she had to break out her inner-drama queen.

Thanks to Michele and Mel for a great little shoot. I hope to work together again. Bravo girls!

Your photos are beautiful – so is Devon and her room! I love her mommy’s blog and I followed a link from it to get to yours! If you don’t mind my asking, did you use your 85mm lens for those adorable close-ups?

hi emily, i use the 24-70 mm lens 95% of the time and that’s what I used for this entire shoot. hope that helps and thanks for stopping by.
