About Bentley Waters

I am a mother to my two boys who are the light of my life.

I love all things Texas-related, as that’s where I’m from. Yee-haw, queso, bluebonnets and margaritas all have a very special place in my heart.

I can’t whistle.

I’m a sucker for Martha Stewart’s magazine, Living. All that perfection makes my heart melt.

In my next life, just for kicks, I want to come back as Jay-Z.

Who started the white shirt and jeans phase for photo shoots and why are people still doing it?

It was my mother’s death that inspired me to start this business.

I have two obsessions: being organized and interior design.

Sex & The City will never get old to me.

I can make some killer guacamole.

I’ve been photographing families in and around NYC for nearly 10 years and I still get butterflies at the beginning of every shoot.

My dream car is a 1964 Mustang convertible, preferably light blue with white interior.

I am married to the funniest person I know.

Public speaking makes we want to vomit.

I can’t count the number of books I’ve started and haven’t finished.

When people ask me why I decided to be a family photographer, I tell them I combined the two things in my life I love the most.
